Winifred “Winnie” Wolf, 82, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at ElderWood Health Care at Birchwood. Born in Buffalo on Thursday, October 3, 1929, she lived in Camillus for 55 years. She was a 1948 graduate of Kenmore High School in Buffalo. Winnie was a member of the Fresh Air Fund and Camillus Art Club. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, she was also a volunteer at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Winnie was predeceased by her parents, Daniel Foley and Clara Faber Foley; sisters, Lucille Baltes, Jane Fothergill and Mary Alice Milley; and brother, Kevin Foley. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Harvey; daughter and son-in-law, Lynnda and Robert Hoefler of Stow, Ohio; sons, Kenneth of Marcellus and Matthew of Syracuse; grandchildren, Savanna, Janessa and Alyssa; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, March 25 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Monday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Winnie will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn. of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
