William Bill Hryvko, 74, of Camillus, died Nov. 21, 2004 at home. Born in Auburn on Sept. 18, 1930, he was the son of Nicholas Hryvko and Julia Timanik. He lived in Camillus for 48 years. Bill was a 1949 graduate of Auburn High School and was a maintenance supervisor for General Electric Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1990. He was a communicant of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Auburn. He also served as president of the former St. Michael's Orthodox Church R Club and was a member of the church board. Bill was predeceased by his daughter Karen in 1984 and two sisters, Mary Speck and Irene Rodak. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Betty Kosct; daughter: Kathy E. Hryvko of Camillus; brothers-in-law, Joseph Speck of Auburn and Mike Rodak of Camillus and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Panakhida service will be at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre.
