William “Bill” E. Lucio, 52, of Lakeland, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 21, 2019. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of Phoenix High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Le Moyne College. Bill was a Marine Corps. veteran and served in the Desert Storm. He was a CPA and worked as the VP of Finance/Controller with Owl Electric for over five years. A member of the Vineyard Church, Bill was very active in the children's ministry. His life was dedicated to serving many for Christ and touched so many lives because of it. An avid Bills fan, he also loved going on vacation, shark tooth hunting and Disney World. Above all, Bill loved spending time with family, especially fishing with his son.
Bill was predeceased by his father, William, in 1990.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, the former Lisa Eldrett; daughters, Katie Lucio of Beijing, Loren Lucio of Rochester and Monica Lucio of Camillus; son, Brandon Lucio of Lakeland; grandson, Giovanni; mother, Joanne Boak of Baldwinsville; sisters, Geraldine (Greg) Unz of Syracuse, Kathleen (Bill) Swenson of Baldwinsville, Darlene Lucio of Baltimore, MD and Marlene (Jon) Barrett of Germantown, MD; grandfather, Ernest Berardi of Shrewsbury, PA; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, November 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Monday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m. in Vineyard Church. Bill will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
