William H. Warriner, 87, of Camillus, died Friday, January 30, 2004 at Community-General Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Saturday, April 7, 1916, he was the son of William Willard Warriner and Sarah E. Ostrander Warriner. He lived in Camillus for more than 47 years. He was a 1934 graduate of Vocational High School. A foreman for Camillus Cutlery, Bill retired in 1978 after 44 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church and member of the Holy Name Society. Bill was also a member of the American Legion Post 1540 and Camillus Senior Citizens. He was a former member of the Westvale Golf Club. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, the former Gertrude Pfeiffer; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Jim Koes of Camillus; son and daughter-in-law, William P. and Joyce Warriner of Liverpool; sister Ethel Graham of Camillus; grandchildren Amy Furletti, Kristen Sergott, Jessica Koes, Kevin Koes and great-grandson Matthew Furletti and several nieces and nephews. Services were at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass was celebrated. Friends called Tuesday, February 3, 2004 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
