Wendell E. Miller, 93, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Savage, Montana, he was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, retiring as a master sergeant. Wendell was a member of the Men's Garden Club of Syracuse, volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House and member of the Fayetteville United Methodist Church. Wendell was predeceased by his first wife, Esther; second wife, Ruth; and granddaughter, Charlene. Surviving are his son, Tom (Sally) Miller of Peyton, CO; daughter, Pam (Roger) Farnsworth of Liverpool; stepdaughters, Nancy (Ken) Elander and Cathy Micale, both of Fayetteville; brother, Dean Miller of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Mark (Crystal) Miller, Mandy (Tom) McBroom, Josh Elander, Kyle Elander and Chris Gellert; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 15 in Fayetteville United Methodist Church, 601 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus.
