Wayne K. House

Wayne K. House, 72, of Camillus, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving wife and family. A lifetime resident of Camillus, he was a graduate of West Genesee High School. Wayne was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed with GTE Sylvania for 23 years and worked at Home Depot for 14 years. Wayne was a member of the VFW Post #8864 and Camillus Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but above all, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Alice.

Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Linda; daughter, Melissa (Chris) Fletcher of Camillus; son, Christopher (Mary) of Camillus; sister, Judy Swift of Solvay; brother, Terry of Cicero; grandchildren, Dustin, Emma, Spencer and Grace; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, March 24 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services and burial will be private.
