Warren C. Ward, 77, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday morning at home. Born on March 16, 1944 on the Onondaga Nation, Snipe Clan, he was raised in Syracuse. Warren was a hard worker throughout his lifetime. He was employed with the Local #195 as a commercial roofer for over 50 years, having served as past president. He enjoyed watching and playing sports, listening to music, and playing the drums. Above all, Warren loved spending time with his family and friends.
Warren was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Douglas, Vincent, and Danny; and son, Richard Hayes.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathleen Ward; children, Jason of Jordan, Elizabeth (Roberto Bague) Ward, Shane and James, all of Syracuse, Clark Leddy of Syracuse, Laurie Batie and Shannon Argy, both of Alabama and Robert Darling of Syracuse; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Martin Ward of Syracuse; sisters, Donna (William) Emling, Olive Ward, and Sharon Marris, all of Syracuse; numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Face coverings are required.
