Volodymyr Konopatskiy, 52, of Solvay, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at University Hospital. Born in Ternopil, Ukraine on Thursday, November 1, 1956, he was the son of Bogdan Konopatskiy and Katerena Stypak Konopatskiy. He came to the U.S. on April 4, 1990 and was a member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. Surviving are his wife of 10 years, the former Lyudmyla Vinnik; daughters, Ulyana and Olesya; son, Svyatoslav, all of Solvay; mother, Katerena Konopatskiy of Camillus; brother and sister-in-law, Oleg and Nataliya Konopatskiy of Fairmount; and nephews, Roman, Oleg and Andrey Konopatskiy. Services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009 and 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church, 3875 Warners Rd., Warners. Volodymyr will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
