Viola E. Ohman, 92, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, Viola was an avid Bingo player and loved the outdoors. Above all, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Viola was predeceased by her husband, Frederick, Sr.; three brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her son, Frederick (Karen) Jr. of Camillus; sister Betty Baker of Syracuse; grandchildren, Jamie and Brian (Kendra); one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be Thursday, January 2 at 1 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christopher Community Housing, 990 James St., Syracuse, NY 13203 or to Loretto Foundation, 1305 Nottingham Rd., Jamesville, NY 13078.
