Victoria (Miller) DeMarchi, 64, of Camillus, passed away peacefully Tuesday at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Corcoran High School. Victoria was a teaching assistant at West Genesee Central School District for 18 years and a building representative for the West Genesee Paraprofessional Association. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and her time spent floating in the pool. Victoria loved being a hockey mom and spending time with her family, especially taking care of her granddaughter, Rosie.
Victoria was predeceased by her mother and step-father, Luella and Donald Peters; father, Jerome Miller; and sister-in-law, Deborah Miller.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, David DeMarchi of Camillus; daughter, Alayna (Michael) Pliszka of Buffalo; sons, Nicholas (Naomi Kosis) of Buffalo, Kevin (Jenn Horvath) of Syracuse and Michael (Lauren) of Camillus; granddaughter, Rosalie; brother, Michael Miller of Weedsport; sisters, Linda (Robert) Sandefur of Syracuse and Amy Miller of Oswego; step-mother, Margaret Miller of NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, December 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 18 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
