Vasiliy Pashchuk, 50, of Liverpool, died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Care Center. Born in Knyazhe, Ukraine on Tuesday, January 21, 1958, he moved to the Syracuse area on October 31, 2000. He lived in Liverpool for five years. Vasiliy was employed with Stickley Furniture for two years and previously with Dot Foods for five years. He was a member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. Left behind are his wife, the former Antonina Suknatska; children, Ruslan and Evelina of New Jersey , Stepan, Mayya and Sofiya, all of Liverpool; parents, Nickolay and Sofiya Pashchuk of Baldwinsville; sister, Svetlana Soyko of Liverpool; brother, Leonard Pashchuk, of Lakeland; and sisters, Galina Biskupets and Olga Melnik; brother, Nickolay Pashchuk, all of the Ukraine. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2008 and 10 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
