Tsun-Ting Charles Li, 74, of Manlius, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at Crouse Hospital. Born in Taichung, Taiwan on Friday, January 11, 1935, he was the son of Song-Chien Li and Tung-Mei Lin Li. An immigrant from Taiwan, he moved to the Syracuse area in 1978. Charles received a bachelor's degree from Tunghai University in Taiwan in 1959. He was an accomplished entrepreneur and founder and president of Liland Trade & Radiator Service & Libo International in East Syracuse in 1979. He was founder of the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce and Upstate Taiwanese Golf Club. He was a great family man, husband, father and friend. Charles was predeceased by his mother, Tung-Mei Li (1981); daughter, Bettina Li (1999); and brothers, Jeng-San (1993), Joseph (1995) and Edward (1996). Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Grace; daughter, Susan (Sean Burke) Li of Manlius; brother, Teddy (Marjorie) Li of Camillus; granddaughter, Safia Razzuqi of Manlius; sisters-in-law, Carol Li of Camillus, May Li of New York and Alice Li of Taiwan; nieces, Karen and Judy Li (Alain DeLange) of CA; nephews, Sinclair Li (Robyn Goodman) of NYC, Dalton Li (Melissa Trevino) of CA, Robert and Charlie Li, both of Camillus, and John and Walter Li of Taiwan; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Montreal, Canada, NYC, Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, Pittsburg, Idaho, California and Taiwan. Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Charles will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
