Timothy M. Potts, 60, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Crouse Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Tim showed amazing courage and strength during his illness. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of Liverpool High School. He was employed with Tops in Clay for over 30 years. An avid golfer and Yankee fan, he loved the Adirondacks and vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his family. Tim and his family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kirshner and all the staff of Crouse 4 South. Tim was predeceased by his father, Donald. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, the former Frances Romano; daughter, Kelly Potts of Loveland, CO; mother, Anne Potts of North Syracuse; sister, Elaine (Frank) Sullivan and brother, Richard (Sandy) Potts, both of Liverpool; granddaughter, Piper Newendyke of Loveland, CO; father-and-mother-in-law, Frank and Anne Romano of Camillus; sisters-in-law, Carol (Ken) Goldman and Judy (David) LaManna, both of Camillus; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, December 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Burial will be private.
