Timothy C. Kay, 74, of Camillus, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was a Navy veteran. Tim retired after 42 years with Crucible Specialty Metals and then worked as a courier for Lab Corp. He was a member of the Camillus Elks Lodge and American Legion. An avid hunter, golfer, fisherman and NASCAR fan, he also loved spending time at his camp in Riverforest Park, Weedsport. Tim was very selfless, generous and caring. His life revolved around his family. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, the former Linda Mulpagano; daughters, Christine Meyers, Kathleen (Garry) Cavanaugh, and Colleen (TJ) Colapaolo; son, Richard (LaNell) Como; sister, Deborah (Butch) Weiner; brothers, Stephen (Dorothy) Kay, Douglas (Pam) Kay, James (Kathy) Kay, Jeffrey (Tammy) Kay and Brian (Beth) Kay; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Tuesday, November 3 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
