Thomas Stanton, 76, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Auburn, he moved to Camillus in the late 1960s. A graduate of St. Lawrence University, Thomas worked in commercial banking for over 34 years with Marine Midland Bank and HSBC. He enjoyed reading novels, boating on Owasco Lake and loved trips to the Adirondacks and the beach. Thomas was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of over 50 years, Cynthia Stanton; sons, Michael (Dawn), Douglas, Brian (Jennifer) and Jon (Jennifer); brother, Phil; and grandchildren, Connor, Jared, Madison, Samantha, Gabriella, Tommy, John, Jane, Laura, Olivia and Julianna.
A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held privately.
