Thomas J. Williams, 59, of Cicero, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center with his family by his side. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was a 1973 graduate of West Genesee High School and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing from Hofstra University. Tom retired from Camillus Cutlery Co. where he worked in sales and became the company historian. He had many interests including real estate, knife work and was an expert in restoring antique cars. He loved his 1940 Chevy. He was a member of the Empire Rodmen Club and we would like to extend many thanks to all the members who offered years of kindness and support to Tom. He was also a member of the Camillus Historical Society and named Citizen of the Year in 2008. He dearly missed his beloved dogs, Harley, Charlotte, Princess, Buddy, Rick and Arlyss, they were his true companions. Tom was predeceased by his father, William, in 2008. Surviving are his beloved mother, Angie; brother, Rick (Sue) of Syracuse; and nephews, Tom, Pat and John, all of Fairmount; and many aunts and cousins. There will be no services.
