Teruko A. Stacy, 92, of Nedrow, passed away Saturday at home. Born and raised in Japan, she moved to the United States in 1954. Teruko was employed with Loretto for over 20 years, working as a nurse’s aide and as a clerk in the Central Supply Dept. She was a member of the Japanese American Cultural Exchange Society and enjoyed gardening. Above all, Teruko loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Teruko was predeceased by her husband, Fenton in 2000; daughter, Barbara Decker; and grandson, Jason Decker.
Surviving are her son, Billy (Susan) of LaFayette; daughters, Linda Condon of Camillus, Susan of Atlanta, GA, and Teresa (Scott) White of Nedrow; grandchildren, Jolene Lillo, Justin Stacy, Christina and Stacy Decker, and Alexandria Acevedo; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-granchildren; and sister, Teiko of Japan.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, September 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
