Suzanne Yvonne Powell

Suzanne Yvonne Powell, 75, of Fairmount, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Born in Jordan on Friday, January 5, 1934, she was a lifetime resident of the Camillus area and 1951 graduate of Central High School whom she represented in Seventeen Magazine. Suzanne was a 43-year employee with Crucible Steel Corp., retiring in 1996. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carey Hutchins of Fairmount; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and James Mooney of Camillus; nephew and wife, Scott and Renee Mooney of Baldwinsville; great nephew, Brett and great niece, Corinne. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Craig R. Swan officiating. Relatives and friends may call Monday, March 23, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Suzanne will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.
