Stojan Topalovic, 62, of Camillus, passed away Monday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Bosnia, he moved with his family to Syracuse in September 1997. Stojan was a truck driver for over 40 years and owned his own rental property business, Topalovic, LLC. Known as a “jack of all trades,” he could fix anything. In Stojan’s early years, he played professional soccer for the NK Bratstvo Gracanica and learned the art of lamb roasting. He enjoyed traveling overseas, visiting with family and would never pass up an opportunity to lie on the beach. Above all, Stojan loved the time spent with his grandson, Julius. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Stojan was predeceased by his son, Dejan; father, Bozo; father-in-law, Began Dzebo; and nephew, Haris Kahrimanovic.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Begija; mother, Jovanka Lazic; son, Bojan (Natalie); grandson, Julius; daughter-in-law, Anna; brother, Drago (Enisa); sister, Danica (Gile) Jankovic; mother-in-law, Rahmija Dzebo; special brother-in-law, Bego Dzebo; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
