Stephen M. Kulba, 72, of Constantia, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Syracuse on May 29, 1934, he was the son of Stephen Kulba and Mary Lischak. He lived in Constantia for 40 years. He received his bachelor's degree from LeMoyne College, masters degree in labor relations from Syracuse University and doctorate in psychology from Midwestern University. A steamfitter, Stephen was a member of Local Steamfitters #221. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Pastime Athletic Club. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Katie Kulba; daughter and son-in-law, Gwenn and Timothy McDonald of Baldwinsville; son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Debra Kulba of Lisbon; mother, Mary Lischak Kulba of Syracuse; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ellen and Michael Colucy of Syracuse; grandchildren, Norman Kulba, Jr., Samantha Kulba, Michael S. Kulba, Carolyn Sitnik and Thaddeus Sitnik, Jr. His father, Stephen, died in 1998. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2006 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church where a Divine Liturgy for the Deceased will be celebrated. Friends may call Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Panakhyda services will be at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Syracuse.
