Stella Cisternino

Stella Cisternino, 88, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Born in Syracuse on Friday, May 12, 1922, she was the daughter of Stanley Stefanski and Anna Gurki Stefanski. She lived in Camillus since 1955. Stella was formerly employed by R.E. Dietz Co. for ten years. A communicant of Holy Family Church, she was also a member of its Altar & Rosary Society. Stella’s husband, Francis Nicholas Cisternino, passed away February 5, 1967. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Michael F. (Pat McKeigue) Cisternino of Liverpool; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 19 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Family Church. Stella will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
