Shirley K. Corey, 90, of Camillus, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at Iroquois Nursing Home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Onondaga Central and attended Powelson Business Institute. Shirley was employed for over 30 years as a secretary and retired from Upstate University Hospital. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; children, Thomas (Nancy) Corey of Tully and Elizabeth Mahoney of Wayne, PA; sister, Valerie Dusart of Ormond Beach, FL; grandchildren, Peter (Karl Rogers) Corey of Washington, D.C., Andrew Corey of Oakland, CA and Lauren (Jason) Burke of West Chester, PA; great-granddaughter, Ellie Burke; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Entombment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, DeWitt.
