Shelby A. Crowley, 68, of Westvale, died Monday, September 26, 2005 at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Wednesday, December 30, 1936, she was the daughter of Francis and Marjorie Crowley. She lived in Camillus for 25 years and was a graduate of Most Holy Rosary School. Shelby was owner of Happy Endings in Armory Square for 10 years. She was formerly employed by Carrier Corporation for 27 years. She was a communicant of St. Josephs Church and was a member of the Armory Square Association and was an avid supporter of the arts in downtown Syracuse. She was well-known for her delicious cheesecakes. Surviving are her son, John Crowley of Westvale; grandson, Jeffrey Mawson, Jr. of West Monroe; aunts, Eleanor (George) Lawrence of Eastwood, and Marian Crowley of Jamesville and several cousins. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2005 at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated.
