Sharon A. Mulcahey, 70, of Fairmount,passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse-Camillus area, she was a 1961 graduate of Central High School. Sharon retired from the Syracuse Developmental Center after 25 years. She was a member of CSEA and enjoyed traveling and going to the casino. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sharon was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Timothy, in 2000. Surviving are her daughters, Theresa Castle of Syracuse, Jennifer (Joseph) Pietrafesa of Camillus and Mary (David) Fries of Liverpool; sons, Patrick (Gretchen) of Fairmount, Michael of Camillus and Casey (Dawn) of Minoa; sister, Kathleen (Robert) McDonald of Syracuse; grandchildren, Cory, Jessie, Kayleigh, Timothy, Maggie, Daniel, Benjamin, Matthew, Sean, Kate and Avery; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Monday, January 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Afuneral Masswill be celebrated Tuesday, January 27 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Sharon will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
