Shannon C. Lynch, 35, of Charlotte, NC formerly of Camillus, NY, passed away October 25, 2019 from injuries related to a hit and run accident on October 23, 2019. Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of Susan Kelleher-Lynch and the late John R. Lynch Jr. Shannon was also predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John and Alice Kelleher and paternal grandparents, John and Janet Lynch.
Shannon was an honor graduate of West Genesee High School Class of 2002 and earned her bachelor’s degree from University at Albany. She was marketing manager for Trustco Bank in Albany before relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2010. She was employed with Aarons Quality Sign, Matthews, NC as an office manager and did graphic design work.
Shannon loved reading, politics and sports, especially SU Basketball, Boston Red Sox and the Carolina Panthers! As an organ donor, the Lynch family would like to acknowledge that Shannon gave the most precious gift, life to others.
The family sends their sincere appreciation to the 11th floor trauma staff at Atrium Health Trauma and Life Share of the Carolinas for the incredible care, compassion and dignity given to Shannon.
Surviving are her mother, Sue Kelleher-Lynch of Camillus; brother, Kelly P. Lynch of Camillus; several aunts, uncles and cousins; her pets, Diesel and Rebel; and her extended family in Charlotte, NC.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, December 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be private.
