Scott Ewing, 93, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at home. Born in Worcester, MA, he lived in Syracuse since 2004. Scott was a World War II Veteran, having served in the Army Air Corps. He attended Princeton University, was the CEO of Sherman Textile Company in Worcester, MA, and owned over 30 Hallmark stores thru-out New England. He was a member of the Fairmount Community Church United Church of Christ. Scott was predeceased by his sister, Jean Rawls; and brother, Frank Ewing. Surviving are his wife of 19 years, the former Vivian Mae Chamberlain; daughters, Katherine Ewing and Sally Ewing; son, Andrew Ewing; Vivian's children, James Dygert, Lynn Pollio and Debra Shirley; sister, Nancy Nye; twelve grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
