Ruth S. Clift

Ruth S. Clift, 95, of Plainfield, IN, moved to Heaven on September 24, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. 

Ruth was born in Owl's Head, NY, and spent most of her years in Syracuse, NY, and Montgomery, AL. She was a 70-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Ruth was a blessing to her family and friends, always supportive, loving, caring, and graciously forgiving. Her family is thankful for her sharing her life and love with them. 

Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles E. Clift Sr.; son, Charles E. Clift Jr.; parents, Leslie and Hattie Smith; four brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan C. Boek of Plainfield, IN; granddaughter, Melissa Ruth Heidtmann of Cincinnati, OH; great-grandson, Will Coers of Brownsburg, IN, and his parents; several nieces, nephews, and their families; and a very special niece-in-law, Nancy Olin of Nashville, TN. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
