Roy C. Ciccarelli

Roy C. Ciccarelli, 79, of Onondaga Hill, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Born in Lake Placid on Wednesday, October 26, 1932, he was the son of Elizabeth and Ned Ciccarelli. Roy retired as senior master sergeant from Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, after 22 years, having served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He resided in Pensacola, Florida for many years. Roy enjoyed classical music. Surviving are his sister, Anna Ciccarelli of Town of Onondaga; and several cousins. There will be no calling hours. Roy will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8 at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Franciscan Northside Ministries, 804 North Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13208.
