Rosemary P. Grace, 90, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Friday. She was welcomed into the Lord’s arms with her daughter Kelly by her side. Rosemary was born November 15, 1933, in Maplewood, NJ to Anna and Martin Weir. The youngest of four siblings, she attended St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in NJ. She worked in the financial aid department at Cazenovia College for over 15 years. Rosemary will be fondly remembered for her afternoon “toonies” and will always cherish celebrating her 90th birthday with the hens.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, James W. Grace.
Surviving are her daughters, Kelly (Robert) Grace-Krupa of Westvale, Mary Eileen Rogers of Alvarado, TX, and Jacqueline Ann (Peter) Sarle of West Islip; son, James Martin (Gloria) of Indiana and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In honor of Rosemary’s wishes, there will be no services.
Rosemary will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rosemary’s name to St. Joseph’s Church Food Pantry, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031 or to St. Patrick’s Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204.
