Rosemarie L. Galizia, 74, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at home. Born in New York on Friday, February 8, 1935, she was the daughter of Neil DeLuca and Mary Rose Siriano Galizia. She lived in the Syracuse area most of her life. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Rosemarie was a home health aide for more than 20 years. An avid Yankees fan, she enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband, Angelo in 1975; twin sister, Caroline Albertson; and brother, Neil DeLuca. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Timothy Vallee of Camillus; son, James of Memphis; grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Meghan and Shannon Vallee and Victoria Rose Galizia; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be private in Assumption Cemetery.
