Roseann (Jarvis) Webster, 84, of Fairmount, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Syracuse on Friday, July 6, 1928, she lived in Ithaca for 23 years before returning to Syracuse in 1997. She was a graduate of Solvay High School and worked as a home health aide for Family & Children's Service in Ithaca for seven years, retiring in 1988. She was also a former waitress at several Syracuse area restaurants and was employed by New York Telephone Co. for five years. Roseann was a communicant of Holy Family Church and was a life member of Ithaca Eagles Auxiliary and past senior regent of Ithaca Women of the Moose. She enjoyed camping, traveling, sewing and reading. Roseann was predeceased by three infant daughters; and parents, Franklin and Arlene Jarvis. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Robert F. Webster; sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel Webster of Houston, Texas, and Richard and Kathleen Webster of Bedford, Massachusetts; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Dean Taylor of Baldwinsville, and Judy and Frank Caporiccio of Holland, Pennsylvania; sisters and brother-in-law, Jane and Ray Kallfelz of Syracuse, and Kathleen Whiting of Camillus; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Friday, November 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Saturday, November 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home and noon in Holy Family Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Roseann will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
