Rose Mary (Nicoletti) DiCaprio, 78, of Camillus, passed away Thursday at Upstate University Hospital at Community General after a brief illness. Born in Cato, she lived most of her life in the Camillus area and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and member of its Altar & Rosary Society. Rose retired from Blue Cross & Blue Shield and was previously employed as a library assistant at West Genesee Middle School. Surviving are her daughters, Lisa (David) de Silva, Lori (Eric Lee) and Lucia (Eric) Watson; son, Anthony DiCaprio; sister, Justina (Thomas) Cahill; brother, Anthony (Maria) Nicoletti; grandchildren, Alyssa Procopio, Christina and Victoria Lee, Madolyn and Jason DiCaprio; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 20 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be private.
