Rose Ann (Borawski) Lucio, 75, of Solvay, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Crouse Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Utica, she married Richard and moved to Syracuse in 1963. A graduate of Proctor High School, Rose Ann and her family owned Lucio's Seafood for 15 years before retiring in 2003. She was a former member of Western Hills Church of Christ. Rose Ann enjoyed going to Sylvan Beach with her husband and family, but above all, loved spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Richard; sons, Scott of Solvay, Richard (Jackie) of Lakeland and Darren of Syracuse; grandchildren, Stephen, Sarah, Morgan, Chelsea, Andrew, Colin, Audrey, Jack, Molly and Grace; great-granddaughter, Olivia; sister, Janice (Ken) Bowkar of Utica; brother, Walter (Nancy) Borawski of Utica; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Saturday, January 12 at 10 a.m. in Vineyard Church, 312 Lakeside Rd., Syracuse. Rose Ann will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
