Roger LeRoy Logan

Roger LeRoy Logan, 72, of Camillus, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Dundee, Iowa, he moved to Syracuse in 1982 after traveling with the Army for many years. An avid wrestling fan, Roger also enjoyed cooking, especially breakfast and sweets. He loved animals and had a special fondness for a yellow canary in Germany while he was serving in the Army.

Roger was predeceased by his mother, Anna M. (Antons) Logan; father, Joseph H. Logan; and sister, Lois Clemens.

Surviving are his wife, Victoria; children, Jennifer (Tom) Williams, Heidi (Maged) Logan and Juliana (Grant) Freeman; sister, Beverly Hagelberg; grandchildren, Evelyn Caldwell, Abigail Freeman, Kyle Freeman, Samuel "Sam" Kamel and Zachariah "Zach" Kamel; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

Services will be Friday, June 9 at noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be private.
