Robert "Sonny" Ceparski Sr.

Robert "Sonny" Ceparski Sr., 72, of Onondaga Hill, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center after a short illness. Born on June 22, 1941, he was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area and a graduate of Central Tech. Sonny was self-employed for over 40 years as a contractor and member of the Camillus Elks. He loved working and playing hard, a good laugh, close friends and family. Sonny was predeceased by his wife, Doreen, in 2001. Surviving are his daughters, Jennifer (Bylo) Gallegos of Fisher, IN and Jessica Ceparski of Syracuse; sons, Robert (Beth) Jr. of Camillus and Jeffrey of Haw River, NC; sisters, Barbara Pickering of Syracuse and Sandra (Frank) Scaccia of Liverpool; grandchildren, Rachel, Amy and Farrah; and many nieces and nephews.
