Robert J. Lawyer

Robert “Bob” J. Lawyer, 54, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the VA Medical Center with his family by his side, after battling lung cancer. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, Bob served as a Navy veteran. He was a professional painter with Holt Painting Co., Inc. in Baldwinsville. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Franklyn Edward Lawyer and Leona Margaret Granish; son Guy; and sister, Donna Brewer. Surviving are his sisters, Nancy (Ron) Fitzgerald and Sue (Carl) Campbell, both of Camillus; brothers, Mike of Liverpool, Frank (Diane) of Whitesboro, Ed (Karen) of Westvale, Jim (Brenda) of Camillus and John (Kim) of Naples, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
