Robert G. Freeman, 72, of Camillus, lost his battle with Agent Orange and multiple cancers on Friday, November 22, 2019. Bob was born in Buffalo on May 28, 1947 to the late Edward and Rachel Freeman. He graduated from Le Roy High School and Oswego State. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Bob worked at Bank of New York, Unisys, OnBank, VA Hospital and Catholic Charities. Bob was a communicant of Holy Family Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 0821. He also volunteered at the Samaritan Center, Oxford Inn and Road to Emmaus. He enjoyed sailing, golfing, fishing and riding his bike. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his family, especially at their camp in Fishers Landing during the summer and Englewood, FL in the winter.
Bob was predeceased by his brother, Richard.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Ann; daughters, Amy Freeman, Elizabeth (Leon) Jackson and Meghan (Carl) D'Orsogna; grandchildren, Bjoire and Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, November 26 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Burial will be private.
