Robert F. Webster, 86, of Fairmount, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Loretto. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Ithaca for 23 years before returning to Syracuse in 1997. A 1944 graduate of Solvay High School, he retired in 1990 after 43 years with Eastern Artificial Insemination Cooperative, Inc. He previously worked for Home Farm and the Herald Journal. Robert was a member of Amboy Belle Isle United Church and the Eagles-Ithaca Aerie. He was past governor and member of the Ithaca Moose Lodge. An avid bowler, he was past president of the Ithaca Men's Bowling Assn. and member of the Bowling Hall of Fame in Ithaca. He also enjoyed camping, traveling and Nascar racing. Robert was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Roseann, in 2012; three infant daughters; parents, Robert and Frances Webster; brother, Skip Webster; and sister, Joy Kotlarz. Surviving are sons, Daniel Webster of Houston, TX and Richard (Kathy) Webster of Bedford, MA; daughters, Marilyn (Dean) Taylor of Baldwinsville and Judy (Frank) Caporiccio of Holland, PA; sister, Doris Chesebro of Camillus; brother, Thomas (Sue) Webster of Hudson, FL; sister-in-law, Kathleen Whiting of Camillus; brother-in-law, Raymond Kallfelz of Fairmount; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, March 29 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 30 at the funeral home. Robert will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
