Robert "Bob" Frigon, 59, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was fondly referred to as "Bob the Builder" who was employed as a union carpenter for the City of Syracuse for over 25 years. He was proudly married to his "Love Muffin," Margaret (O'Donnell) Frigon for 36 wonderful years. Together they shared two beautiful children, Jeffrey (Kate) Frigon and Jennifer (Nicholas) Gallo. The greatest joy of his life was being Papa to his four grandchildren, Riley, Chase, Mariella and Grady. Bob was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Wright, and stepmother, Kathleen Frigon. In addition, Bob is survived by his father, Warren Frigon of Eagle River, AK; and two sisters, Linda (Bill) Adamo and Deborah Martin. Also missing him dearly are his mother-in-law, Irene O'Donnell; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Bob taught us that much can be said with few words, laugh when moments present themselves and to love fiercely and unapologetically. Please consider making a donation to Upstate Cancer Center Campaign, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210 to help continue to pave the way for the fight he so bravely fought. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, August 1 from noon to 3 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 3 p.m.
