Robert D. Palmer Jr., 52, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Born in Norwich, New York on Wednesday, February 29, 1956, he lived in Camillus until moving to Baldwinsville 13 years ago. Robert was a graduate of West Genesee High School and SUNY Oswego. He was an insurance manager for Delmonico Associates, Inc. In Skaneateles and was formerly employed by Haylor, Freyer & Coon in Liverpool for 15 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Baldwinsville and former communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. Robert enjoyed motorcycling, golfing, snowmobiling and his dogs. He also enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of five years, the former Kimberly Warner; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Christopher Vincentini of Warners; son and fiance, Kyle Palmer and Kimberly Maichak of Brewerton; stepdaughter, Cassandra Cherebin of Baldwinsville; parents, Robert and Gladys Palmer Sr. of Jacksonville, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Scott Silliman of Jacksonsville, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Sandy Palmer of Onondaga Hill; grandchildren, Tyler Palmer and Leah Todeschini and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Monday, May 5, 2008 in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Baldwinsville, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kimberly Palmer, c/o Golden Legacy, 7 Legacy Dr., Suite 301, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
