Robert A. Banazek, 65, of Camillus, died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Syracuse on Friday, April 5, 1940, he was the son of Alexander Walter Banazek and Mary Jane Demianyk. He had lived in Camillus since 1984. Bob was a graduate of Eastwood High School and received his bachelor's degree and his master's degree from Syracuse University. He was owner of Robert A. Banazek & Associates in Camillus for 32 years. Bob was formerly employed by East Syracuse-Minoa High School, Longley-Jones Real Estate and Pyramid Brokerage. A member of Tuscarora Golf Club, Bob enjoyed golfing and skiing. He also enjoyed spending summers at his cottage on Skaneateles Lake. Surviving are his wife of 25 years, the former Mary Alice Mooney; his beloved children, sons and daughters-in-law, David and Marni Banazek of Denver, Colorado and Christian and Krysta Banazek of Redwood City, California; daughter, Kerry Banazek of Camillus; beloved grandchildren, Laura and Jack Banazek of Redwood City, California; several aunts and uncles; many cousins, nieces and nephews and his former wife, Nancy Banazek of Stewart, Florida. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2006 in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated.
