Robbie A. Sherrill, 67, of Camillus, passed away, Wednesday March 12, 2014 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was an Air Force veteran. Robbie was employed by Cement Masons Local 519 for more than 20 years. An avid billiard player, he also enjoyed summers at his camp on Sylvan Beach. His greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his 12 grandchildren. He was their biggest fan. Robbie was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Jessie. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, the former Susan Kelly; daughters, Tami (Patrick) Ellinger of Lockport and Tracy (Leland) Frink of Baldwinsville; son, Robbie (Tammy) Sherrill II of Camillus; sisters, Debra Stanton of Baldwinsville and Kimberly (Tracy) Mattice of Cicero; brother, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Sherrill of Tampa, FL; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Saturday, March 15 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
