Richard W. Korrigan, 79, of Camillus, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at University Hospital. Born and raised in Warners, he lived in Camillus for the past 40 years. Dick was a graduate of Warners High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. Following his retirement in 1997 from Esselté-Boorum & Pease, his passion was working at Camillus Country Club for more than 15 years. Dick was a member of the Woodpeckers Club and enjoyed SU basketball. An active outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer hunting, as well as coin collecting. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, the former Helena Macewicz; his first wife, Dianne Crossett Korrigan of Camillus; daughters, Pam Korrigan of Rome, Jill Korrigan of Camillus, Sara (Chris Scouten) Korrigan of Camillus and Rachel (Mickey Umbenhouer) Korrigan of Onondaga Hill; sons, Brian (Elsa) Korrigan of Williamsburg, VA and Chad (Jessica) Korrigan of Marcellus; granddaughters, Alexis and Cynthia Korrigan of Williamsburg, VA and Sophia Korrigan of Marcellus; and grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Korrigan of Rome. There will be no calling hours. In a celebration of Dick's life, there will be a gathering on the 4th of July 2015. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
