Richard S. Gryziec, 87, of Camillus, passed away Friday. He was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Richard was employed with the Iron Workers Local 60 for 44 years before retiring in 1999. He enjoyed playing Blackjack at the Turning Stone Casino and spending time with family.
Richard was predeceased by his wife, Martha, in 1997.
Surviving are his daughters, Lynore Delarosa of Warners and Debra Brown of Albany; son, Ronald of Syracuse; sister, Dorothy Storms of Syracuse; grandchildren, Chad, Matthew and Amber; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Cheyann; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 18 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Marianne Cope at Our Lady of Peace Church, 203 Halcomb St., Syracuse. Richard will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
