Richard "Joe" Joseph Nash III

Richard "Joe" Joseph Nash IlI, 40, of Marcellus, passed away peacefully on Monday at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 30, 1983, to Kathleen (Cowburn) and R. Joseph Nash II. 

A 2001 graduate of Westhill High School, Joe went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Industry from SUNY Oneonta in 2005. He enjoyed all genres of music and cherished moments spent with his family at the lake.

Joe was predeceased by his grandparents, Nora and Richard J. Nash, Geraldine H. Cowburn and Charlie and Joan Cowburn; aunt, Margaret (Nash) Bowen; and uncles, Dave Bowen and Tom Cowburn. 

Joe will be dearly missed by his parents, Kathy and Joe; sister, Katie; nephew and niece, Antonio and Charlotte; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Our family would like to thank Joe’s caregiver, Toni Tarbell, for her years of kindness, care, and love.

In honor of Joe’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather Monday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. 

Joe will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
