Richard Matthew Stieber

Richard Matthew Stieber, 60, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at University Hospital. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of West Genesee High School and Utica College. Richard was employed with GTE Sylvania for over 20 years. A communicant of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, he enjoyed spending time in the Adirondacks and being with his family.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Amos and Irene.

Surviving are his sister, Anne Stieber of Camillus; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, February 13 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Richard will be laid to rest in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
