Richard “Richie” Armstrong II, 60, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday at home. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he enjoyed hunting and bowling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Richie was predeceased by his grandchildren, Damian and Caleb; parents, Richard and Florence; and brother, Kenneth Darby.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Beverly Ann; favorite daughter, Nikki Armstrong of Camillus; sons, Richard of Mattydale and David (Ashley) of Syracuse; seven grandchildren; sisters, Dawn (Lynn) Armstrong of Lafayette, Betty (Clark) Whiele of Fairmount, and Catherine (Robert) Cardinell of Syracuse; and many nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Richie’s life, family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
