Richard A. Bartlett

Richard A. Bartlett, 64, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 after a short illness. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he graduated from Corcoran High School. An Army veteran, Rich was employed with the Postal Service for 32 years before retiring in 2010. After retirement, he was employed with NSW Solutions. Rich was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing in Pitch and Pinochle leagues. He loved spending time with his friends and family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Elizabeth; and grandparents.

Surviving are his sisters, Geraldine (Tom) Legutko, Debra (Pat) Zubrowski and Nancy (Don) Schmidt; aunt, Lois Kilian; niece, Cyndi (Victor) Rizzo; nephews, Daniel and Alex Zubrowski and Greg Schmidt; great nephews, Victor and Maddox Rizzo; and several cousins.

Rich was a wonderful son, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. He will be especially missed by his lifelong friends, the Winchell family, who he loved and considered family and who loved and considered him family too.

Per Rich's wishes, there will be no calling hours.

Services will be private. Richard will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
