Randy C. Jevis, 63, of Camillus, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at University Hospital. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, he was a graduate of Henninger High School. Randy was employed with the US Postal Service for over 20 years and previously co-owned Lakeland Home Supply. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Randy was known as a handyman and mechanic, and also loved carpentry, working outdoors and his Corvette. Above all, he loved his family.
Randy was predeceased by his father, Benjamin, in 1997.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, the former Eileen Broader; daughters, Erin (Thomas) McHardy of Brooklyn and Lauren (Gary) Jevis of Syracuse; mother, Mary Jevis; sisters, Patty (Michael) Alivero, Sandy (Pete) Opperman and MaryEllen (Mike) D'Agostino; brothers, Bill (Margaret) Jevis and Mark (Kathy) Jevis; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, January 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Randy will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
