Ralph Bellinger, 85, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at The Centers at St. Camillus. Born in Johnson City, he was a graduate of Johnson City High School. An Army veteran, Ralph was a finance manager for GMAC until retiring in 1992 and was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. He enjoyed boating, traveling, woodworking and renovation projects. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ralph was predeceased in 2019 by his wife of 58 years, the former Carol Ann Manahan; and sisters, Audrey Dougherty and Jeannette Trabucco.
Surviving are his daughter, Cathy (Ken) Major of Camillus; sons, Mark (Emily) of Middlebury, VT, Christopher (Donna) of East Amherst, Michael (Nerina) of Victor and Rob (Jodi) of Skaneateles; grandchildren, Hope, Eric, Sarah, Jeffrey, Matthew, Megan, Ryan Michael, Rachel, Nathan, Gabrielle, Allison, Caraline, Ryan Patrick and Shawn; sister, Eleanor Stadelmaier of Charlottesville, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Sunday, June 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be private.
